Catherine has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport and Exercise Science) with a special interest of musculoskeletal rehabilitation in 2007. She then completed a Master of Physiotherapy in 2009. Since her graduation, she has taken a special interest in conditions of the lumbar spine, pelvis and hip completing a range of courses and further training.
Throughout her career, Catherine has had a keen interest in sports and has worked with a variety of sporting teams including Randwick Rugby Club and Netball NSW.
Catherine has a special interest in or specializing in pelvis and sacro-iliac joint (SIJ), pre and postnatal hip problems.
Catherine is a qualified women’s health physiotherapist who is currently undertaking the Titling process to specialise in this area of work. Her current experience includes treating a range of conditions including prolapse, incontinence, bladder and bowel dysfunction as well as pre and post natal disorders. During COVID-19, Catherine has used the time effectively to continue upskilling and has completed training in prolapse and pessaries, pain disorders of the pelvis, bladder and bowel and specialist training for stress urinary incontinence.
Catherine has also completed training and is a titled Post Traumatic Exercise Specialist. This enables her to rehabilitate people from a range of conditions including pregnancy, sporting injuries, workplace injuries and post surgery. She is using this knowledge combined with her passion for exercise to treat patients as both an exercise physiologist and physiotherapist.
Catherine has also spent 4 years working with patients doing hydrotherapy for prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and metabolic conditions.
Catherine is a Professional Member of The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) as well as Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
Catherine has been working with Pro-fit Physio and Allied Health Centre for since 2010 providing a high quality and evidence-based treatment for all patients.
Catherine is committed to expanding her knowledge regularly through continued professional development.
